“As President of Georgia I paid my first visit in the region to friendly Azerbaijan. I traveled to the Georgian-inhabited region in the country,” said President of Georgia Salome Zourabichvili as she delivered a speech in the Georgian parliament.

The President praised the outcomes of the negotiations she held in Azerbaijan, saying that very important issues were discussed during her meetings in Baku. In her speech, President Zourabichvili also pointed to the development of the “Caspian Sea – Black Sea International Transport Route”, underlining her country’s interest in expanding the corridor.
