Azerbaijani culture was showcased at the 21st edition of the Migrants’ Arirang Multicultural Festival (MAMF), held in Changwon, South Korea.
The Azerbaijani pavilion, supported by the Fund for Support to Azerbaijani Diaspora, introduced visitors to the country’s rich cultural heritage, including national costumes, kelaghayi art, tea traditions and music. It also promoted intercultural dialogue and raised awareness of Azerbaijani culture.
The project was implemented under the leadership of Gunay Karimova, an Azerbaijani living in South Korea, with Leyla Masimli and Aziza Huseynzade also playing active roles.
MAMF is one of South Korea’s largest multicultural festivals. It is organized by the local government, the Gyeongsangnam-do Foreign Residents Support Center and the Changwon Cultural Foundation.
