“Today, Azerbaijan enjoys a social and political stability and has established a democratic society, which are the prerequisites for holding fair and transparent elections,” Ukrainian political analyst Oleg Ponomar has told “sechki-2018.az” website.

“The electoral system established in Azerbaijan is in full compliance with the country's democratic political system. And we believe that the Azerbaijani people would make the right choice in the April 11 presidential election," he said. Ponomar also noted that Azerbaijan is an important partner for Ukraine, and that his country supports official Baku in ensuring restoration of Azerbaijan’s territorial integrity.
