“Based on the agreement reached regarding the section of the Zangezur Corridor passing through the territory of Armenia, the United States is also participating in this process. In this regard, the talks are being conducted primarily between the United States and Armenia, as the issue concerns Armenia’s territory. At the same time, the reality is that both the entry and exit points of the corridor are located within the territory of the Republic of Azerbaijan,” Azerbaijan’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Jeyhun Bayramov told journalists.
“We are regularly informed by our American partners about the progress of the talks and the process as a whole. A few months ago, an initial document was signed between the Armenian side and the United States. According to the information provided to us, the process is continuing, and documents are currently being prepared. Discussions regarding the corridor may also cover railways, highways, electricity cables, as well as pipelines,” he added.
