“The construction of three new residential complexes is underway in the city of Shusha. The foundations of these complexes were laid by President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev. The residential complexes, consisting of a total of 43 buildings and nearly 900 apartments, are scheduled to be commissioned in the first and second quarters of next year. This will enable the resettlement of the population to Shusha next year,” said Aydin Karimov, Special Representative of the President in the Shusha district, in a statement to AZERTAC.
He noted that social infrastructure projects are also continuing in the city.
According to him, the construction of a new kindergarten and the Victory Museum in Shusha is planned to begin. He also said that construction of a new mosque is ongoing and is expected to be completed by the end of this year or the beginning of next year.
Aydin Karimov added that tourism infrastructure development is also underway, and that after restoration works are completed in two villages of Shusha, population resettlement will continue within the next two months.
