Lithuanian Prime Minister pays tribute to Azerbaijani martyrs
On April 9, Inga Ruginienė, Prime Minister of the Republic of Lithuania, who is on an official visit to Azerbaijan, visited the Alley of Martyrs in Baku.
The Lithuanian Prime Minister commemorated the Azerbaijani heroes who sacrificed their lives for the country’s independence and territorial integrity, and placed flowers at their graves. She also laid a wreath at the Eternal Flame monument.
PM Inga Ruginienė then viewed a panoramic vista of Baku and was informed about the history of the Alley of Martyrs and the city’s redevelopment projects.
