A new edition of the English-language IRS-Heritage magazine—an important platform for promoting Azerbaijani realities, as well as the country’s rich culture and art abroad—has been published.

The latest issue features in-depth articles on Azerbaijan’s culture, multiculturalism and traditions of coexistence, economic achievements, and cultural heritage in the fields of painting and art.

The magazine includes an article by Editor-in-Chief Musa Marjanli titled “Ekinchi-150: Enlightenment seeds sowed to Azerbaijani ground,” which offers insights into the historical path of Azerbaijan’s national press.

An article by political scientist Elsever Salmanov provides a comprehensive analysis of relations between Azerbaijan and the United Nations, as well as the implementation of UN documents, with a particular focus on the 80th anniversary of the UN, which is being marked throughout 2025.

The edition also features an article on multiculturalism, Islam, and women’s freedom in Azerbaijan by PhD in Philology Gulshan Pashayeva, highlighting the country’s achievements in religious tolerance and explaining how its secular character fosters a unique environment for women.

Another highlight of the magazine is a series of photos by British publicist Ian Peart, taken during his visit to the Oil Rocks, documenting his meetings with oil workers and reflecting his impressions of the creation of the world’s first offshore oil workers’ town.

The issue also includes a noteworthy article by PhD in Art History Melek Velizade, informing readers about the life and legacy of the prominent cultural figure Rashid Behbudov.
