D-8 Media Forum features panel discussion on responsible journalism and digital innovation
The D-8 Organization for Economic Cooperation Media Forum, held under the theme “Fostering Dialogue, Collaboration, and Regional Cohesion,” featured a panel discussion titled “Responsible Journalism and Digital Innovation.”
Moderated by Orkhan Amashov, Deputy Editor-in-Chief of the AnewZ TV channel, the panel explored the opportunities emerging in the media landscape through reliable news production and digital transformation.
Speakers included Faruk Wasif Omar, Director General of the Bangladesh Press Institute; Ezzat Ibrahim, Editor-in-Chief of Egypt’s Al-Ahram Weekly and Al-Ahram Online; Ferdian, an Indonesian expert in digital business and media innovation; and Elham Abedini, journalist and Director of the International Affairs Department of Iran’s Press TV.
