"Before making irresponsible statements the Armenian leadership should think about the fate of its population," Azerbaijan's Defense Ministry said in response to Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan's statement on the use of Iskandar operational-tactical missiles.
"Serzh Sargsyan's statement is a primitive step intended for the domestic audience which aims to restore the lost influence of his criminal gang and raise his pre-election rating."
"The enemy side should realize that all military and other strategically important facilities located in Azerbaijan's occupied territories, as well as in Armenia, are constantly targeted by the most advanced missile and artillery units which Azerbaijani army has purchased in recent years. Any threat from Armenia will be immediately and decisively prevented. As a result of punitive measures to be taken, large-scale losses and destructions will be inevitable for Armenia, which will lead to disastrous and irreversible consequences," the ministry said. (AZERTAC)
