Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić: I am proud of our friendship with Azerbaijan and President Ilham Aliyev

“I am proud of our friendship with Azerbaijan and President Ilham Aliyev,” Aleksandar Vučić, President of Serbia, told local TV channel.

"Supply of gas to some countries will be temporarily suspended. However, President of Azerbaijan, our great friend Ilham Aliyev, announced that there will be no suspension of gas to Serbia. This is a crucial decision for our country and people. I am proud of our friendship with Azerbaijan and President Ilham Aliyev. I am waiting for him in Belgrade at any time convenient for him. Because we should foster discussions regarding our cooperation. We enjoy strategic relations in all domains of social life, and these ties are constantly developing. It is just one indicator that we can always rely on such friends," Aleksandar Vučić emphasized.

On January 12, President of Serbia Aleksandar Vučić, in a post on his social media account, announced that there will be no suspension of gas to Serbia, and expressed his gratitude to Azerbaijan and President Ilham Aliyev.
