As he addressed a conference dedicated to the results of third year implementation of "The State Program on socio-economic development of the regions of the Republic of Azerbaijan in 2014-2018".

"The implementation of this project is of great symbolic meaning. This is a historic event. We return the liberated villages to their residents," said the head of state.  President Ilham Aliyev said he was very happy with the fact that the residents of Jojuq Marjanli village met this decision with great enthusiasm and interest, expressing his confidence that they looked forward to see this day. 
"I am sure we will restore Jojug Marjanli village in a short period of time. Now demining work is being carried out there. The TV channels are also highlight views of the village. The village was under the occupation for a few months. Then the Horadiz operation under the leadership of national leader Heydar Aliyev was conducted. The invaders and enemies were expelled from the village. But they ruined the village within a few months. Now, of course, the mine clearing work should be carried out there, and infrastructure projects should be implemented in the village after that. I gave instructions, to appeal to international organizations that they send their representatives there. Let them see what the Armenian atrocities are," President Ilham Aliyev added.
