“We commend Azerbaijan’s efforts to ensure peace and stability in the region,” Daiga Mieriņa, Speaker of the Latvian Saeima told a press conference in Baku on Monday.

Congratulating the Azerbaijani people on the Victory in the Patriotic War, the Latvian Speaker said that the visits by the international community representatives to the liberated territories contributes significantly to communicating the Azerbaijani realities to the world community.

Daiga Mierina also hailed the ongoing restoration works in the cities of Shusha and Fuzuli.
