Azerbaijani writer awarded Chingiz Aitmatov medal
Azerbaijani writer Solmaz Amanova was awarded the medal of the great writer of Kyrgyzstan Chingiz Aitmatov.
The presentation ceremony took place as part of the Kyrgyz Culture Days held in Azerbaijan.
President of Chingiz Aitmatov International Foundation Eldar Aitmatov presented the medal to Professor Solmaz Amanova.
Solmaz Amanova, the author of many books, has also received the Leonardo da Vinci Medal of the European Academy of Natural Sciences for her contributions to medicine and children's literature, as well as the medals of "Robert Koch", the European Order of Honor, the Order of Friendship, "Johann Wolfgang Goethe", "Friedrich Schiller" and "The Brothers Grimm".
