Turkish Foreign Minister: Azerbaijan plays an important role in Europe`s energy security
“Azerbaijan is the South Caucasus’ new shining star. Azerbaijan`s economic development demonstrates that it has turned into the region`s most powerful country. Simultaneously, Azerbaijan became a crossroads of regional diplomacy and a number of projects,” said Turkish FM Hakan Fidan as he addressed the 11th Global Baku Forum.
The Foreign Minister underlined that Türkiye has signed a number of energy and economic projects with Azerbaijan.
“I visited Shusha last year. COP29 will be also held in Baku this year. Azerbaijan hosted numerous events. Azerbaijan also plays an important role in Europe`s energy security,” Hakan Fidan added.
