Baku will host the first-ever Music Forum to mark the 100th anniversary of National Leader Heydar Aliyev.
The Forum, to be held on October 29-31, will be co-organized by Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Culture, Baku Music Academy named after Uzeyir Hajibayli, Azerbaijan National Conservatory, Azerbaijan State University of Culture and Arts, and Azerbaijan’s Composers Union.
The opening ceremony will be held at Gulustan Palace.
The forum, which will bring together composers, conductors, musicologists, and members of cultural public, will feature panel discussions on promotion, research and consumption of music.
The proposals and remarks made at the forum will be included in the “Azerbaijani culture-2040” concept.
