Chairman of Azerbaijan`s State Committee on Work with Diaspora Fuad Muradov has met with Christian Vallar, famous French lawyer and researcher on internal security and administrative law.
Chairman of the State Committee gave detailed information on the recent anti-terror measures carried out by Azerbaijan in Karabakh, the situation in Khankendi, and the reintegration conditions proposed by Azerbaijani side to the Armenian population of Karabakh. It was brought to the attention that the Azerbaijani side did not target the Armenian population and civil infrastructure during the anti-terror operation, did not cause any harm to civilians, and these facts were confirmed by the UN mission that visited Khankendi and surrounding regions.
“Azerbaijani people and our compatriots living abroad, regret for the biased position of France towards Azerbaijan because of the Karabakh issue already solved within the framework of the international law,” he said.
Expressing his gratitude for the warm reception, Christian Vallar shared his views on the meetings held in the capital Baku, his visit to Fuzuli and the activity of the Azerbaijani community in France. He thanked the organizers of his visit to Azerbaijan.
Mirvari Fataliyeva, chairwoman of "Paris Azerbaijan House ", secretary general of Association of Friends of Azerbaijan in France, also attended the meeting.
Christian Vallar completed his bachelor's and master's degrees in public law at the University of Nice. He founded the Center for Research and Studies in Administrative, Constitutional, Financial and Fiscal Law (CERDACFF).
He has worked in various positions at the University of Nice-Sophia-Antipolis, the University of Savoie, and the University of the Cote d'Azur. Currently, he manages cooperation program with the Faculty of Law of the University of Nice and the University of Pitesti, Romania. He was awarded the title of honorary doctor and honorary professor of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences, and the status of expert of the Azerbaijan University of Languages.
