Deputy Special Representative of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the liberated territories included in the Karabakh economic region Bashir Hajiyev briefed the diplomats on the construction works carried out as part of the master plan of the city of Aghdam. He noted that under the Great Return program, five residential settlements will be built for former IDPs in the city of Aghdam, as well as 12 villages in the Aghdam district by 2026.

He also noted that the construction of the Aghdam Convention Center and the secondary school №1 had already been completed in the city, adding that the construction of the “Aghdam Residence” residential complex, “City Hotel Aghdam”, Aghdam Mugham Center and "Park Karabakh" residential complex is underway. He also highlighted the ongoing restoration work in the Aghdam Juma Mosque.
