Commemorative coin symbolizing Nizami Ganjavi's heritage presented to UN Secretary-General
A special meeting was held with UN Secretary-General António Guterres on the sidelines of the 10th Global Forum of the United Nations Alliance of Civilizations in Cascais, Portugal.
During the meeting, discussions focused on the COP29 climate summit, global challenges, and potential solutions. Both parties emphasized the importance of regular dialogue on these critical issues.
The UN Secretary General was also briefed on the Global Baku Forums organized by the Nizami Ganjavi International Center (NGIC), as well as its collaboration with the UN Alliance of Civilizations and other related initiatives.
In conclusion, a commemorative coin featuring illustrated manuscripts of Nizami Ganjavi's “Khamsa” was presented to António Guterres.
