They will discuss work, future action plans and new projects of the Nizami Ganjavi International Center, as well as cooperation prospects. Preparations for the 5th Global Baku Forum will also be discussed at the meeting.
Participants in the meeting will include co-chair of the center, Latvian’s former President Vaira Vīķe-Freiberga, co-chair, Founding Director of the Bibliotheca Alexandrina Ismail Serageldin, member of the Board of Trustees, chairman of Azerbaijan`s State Committee on Work with Diaspora Nazim Ibrahimov, member of the center, Latvian’s former President Valdis Zatlers and others.
The leadership of the Nizami Ganjavi International Center will also hold meetings at the Latvian parliament and other state bodies.
The Latvian government and the Nizami Ganjavi International Center have maintained cooperation for several years. The Latvian capital of Riga hosted a high level meeting of the center in 2015.
