“We want to buy more oil and gas from brotherly Azerbaijan. The newly commissioned TANAP project will provide this opportunity. This is a truly magnificent project," said Turkish Minister of Foreign Affairs Mevlut Cavusoglu answering the questions of Azerbaijani journalists.
Cavusoglu mentioned that TANAP is one of those joint important projects that Turkey and Azerbaijan are currently implementing. He noted that the Baku-Tbilisi-Kars project was inaugurated at the end of 2017, describing it as one of the successful joint projects. “We are closely collaborating in transport projects. We are restoring the Historical Silk Road this time through the railway”
Cavusoglu praised Azerbaijan`s development in all areas. “Our countries make mutual investments. We have close cooperation in all areas. Azerbaijan and Turkey are fraternal countries. The stability and prosperity of one of our two countries is the stability and prosperity of another. Nagorno-Karabakh issue is not only Azerbaijan's issue and the occupation of Azerbaijani territories is our problem too,” the Turkish FM added.
