“Instead of blaming Azerbaijan for the so-called “genocide” attempts, the Armenian side must apologize for the forced deportation of Azerbaijanis from the territory of Armenia, the mass deaths of people when they were expelled from their homes, crimes against humanity, including genocide as a result of aggression and occupation of Azerbaijani territories, ethnic cleansing policy, and other such actions.
If Armenia is really interested in achieving peace and stability in the region, and if it supports the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Azerbaijan not only in words but also in deeds, it must refrain from such provocative steps, and support the proposal of the Azerbaijani side to use the Agdam-Khankendi road and other alternative roads to meet the needs of the Armenian residents of Karabakh. The Armenian side must also not interfere with Azerbaijan's efforts to reintegrate Armenian residents of Karabakh," the ministry said.
